Partners

Sometimes the best business solution is to give the job to the most qualified individual. Everyone has their area of expertise. The best decision is to partner with another company rather than to compete. In Southern Colorado, we partner with the Computer TroubleShooter. John Viel has provided in shop computer service for many years. This is fine, as long as you can bring your computer to him. ADT provides computer service on location. This division of labor has worked out well between the two companies with lively referrals going both directions. Alpha Dog handles work in the field while Computer Troubleshooter does the in shop work, even parnering on larger contracts where both sets of skills are needed. We understand our limits and our strengths.

We are always on the look out for new partners in the computer industry. This area of Colorado is too sparsely populated to be myopic when it comes to customer care and competition. Internet Service Providers / Communications

Getting internet or other service can often be a pain for folks, particularly in rural, mountainous areas. There are some locations people have placed houses where the closest phone line is 20 miles away. Others have need of service with the speed and reliability to base a business on. We see the good, bad, and ugly, when it comes to ISPs and Telecommunication providers. Where a service offering consistantly shines, we gladly place their name and link here.

Purchasing

We do not sell any equipment other than the occasional used machine. We would rather point you in the right direction, yielding better results for all. When we purchase for our own business, we frequently find vendors who do well by us, and those who do not. If a consistantly great vendor sells to the public, we gladly put their name and link here.

Products

Again, We do not sell anything, but sometimes when we purchase equipment, we find a product or brand that just outshines the rest. We gladly put the name and link of those manufacturers here.

Software

We are constantly looking for software that just works. Besides being reliable to a fault to make the cut and appear here, the price has to be right (best deal, not necessarily free), the software needs to be indispensable (how did we ever do without this?), and finally work on more than just one operating system.

Tools

As with any craftsmen, our tools are our livelihood. When something does not fit the need or breaks because of a faulty design, it costs everyone money. Where we find a manufacturer who makes tools that are durable, efficient, and well suited to their task, we gladly put their logo and link here.
